About the role:
You will join a team of high-performing professionals where customers are the centre of everything they do. Based in Christchurch, you will report to the Director and be responsible for the entire lifecycle of customers in your territory, driving outstanding sales results across the South Island from Christchurch to Invercargill.
Responsibilities:
- Engage and influence new business prospects across various industries, from commercial architects to construction firms
- Become a subject matter expert in flooring solutions, providing insights into industry trends and advancements
- Drive revenue growth by exceeding sales targets and promoting strategic business partnerships
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, maintain accurate CRM records, and report on sales performance
- Ensure customer sample libraries are fully stocked and organise client events to enhance relationships
- Work closely with the team
- This is an onsite position
Skills and experience:
- Proven senior account management/business development experience, in the flooring industry (an advantage)
- Natural ability to build rapport, with excellent communication, influencing, and relationship skills
- Passionate about sustainability, innovative commercial solutions, and customer success
- Highly driven, dynamic, and self-motivated, proven ability to achieve and exceed targets
- Proactive and energetic approach to exceed customer expectations
