This is one of my most longterm clients based in Penrose. Their collaborative and experienced finance team are committed to delivering high-quality service across the business. With one of their team members recently being promoted, they now have an opportunity for someone to join as a temp whilst they continue recruiting for the permanent role.
About the role – Mō te tūranga
This friendly team are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) professional to join them on a temporary basis while recruitment for the permanent position is ongoing. The assignment would ideally start as soon as possible and run until approximately 31st July, with potential for extension.
Your main duties will include:
- Liaising over the phone and email with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Checking and submitting invoices/credit notes from the scanning system into the AP system, ensuring they meet IRD and GST compliance requirements.
- Monitoring the generic AP email inboxes.
- Performing online supplier statement reconciliations, including requesting missing documentation and investigating any anomolies.
- Updating and adding new vendors to the ERP system
About you – He kōrero mōu
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Previous experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment, ideally using a tier 1 accounting system such as Oracle, SAP, or JDE.
- Confidence with Microsoft Excel
