About the role – Mō te tūranga

This part time role is 25-30 hours per week and there is flexibility how you can structure that through the business week.  This role is completely office based and the role itself is new, due to growth.  You will be in charge of end-to-end processing of Accounts Payable (approx. 700 to 800 invoices per month).  You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the AP inbox, process approvals
  • Creating invoices in Workbench and reconcile in MYOB
  • Setting up new vendors and maintain card files
  • Monitoring and correcting coding issues
  • Reconciling supplier statements, investigating anomalies
  • Preparing and processing payment batches (weekly and monthly)
  • Liaising with internal teams across multiple locations
About you – He kōrero mōu

You will be an experienced end to end Accounts Payable professional who has worked in a volume transactional environment.  It’s ideal If you already know MYOB AccountRight well and have exposure to workbench (in a projects-based accounts payable environment).  Your AP experience would have included working with purchase orders and you will be comfortable with 3-way matching.  You have a calm solutions-focused mindset and will enjoy a down to earth construction type environment. Intermediate excel is essential. You’ll work closely with a finance lead who values openness, practical thinking, and continuous improvement.  

NOTE: We are looking for someone who has genuine reasons for wanting long term part time hours.
