Job Description
H2R are working with a client to help them find an experienced Accounts Specialist. This role is a permanent role which has a wide range of duties in a large finance team. There is allot of room for positive career growth due to the size of this team and organisation, however they would naturally like good commitment to this role initially. If people are on a CA plan / trajectory this will be supported also (this is not a pre-requisite).
Role Purpose
This role is a member of the Finance Team who is responsible for the accounts payable, accounts receivables and key financial activities. This role also includes financial reporting, tax compliance, fixed assets, reconciliations, and embedding technology solutions.
This role / team ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of these finance activities for the organisation. This includes taking responsibility for accuracy, validity and timeliness of payments, allocation of receipts and review of vendor and customer accounts.
This will involve interaction with wide range of internal and external customers. The position requires a good understanding of accounting principles, processes, and technology. Well-developed self-management skills are required as well as interpersonal skills.
What we are looking for:
– Someone with a strong track record in AR and reconciliations. The AP side of things can be added on / taught, however AR experience is a pre-requisite.
– Ideally we want someone with experience in a large organisation who has coped with large volumes.
– 1-2 years NZ experience (this is so you know NZ GST and Accounting). If you tick every other box and have just arrived, don’t hesitate to apply or give me a call.

Details to know:
- Flexibility: 2 days WFH, however these days may move around due to internal needs.
- Work hours: Between 8-5 (or 8-430 if lunch is 30 mins) – full time.
- Pay: $65,000 – $80,000 plus considerable benefits (please get in contact).
