About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our Cancer Services team and co-ordinate the Cancer Multidisciplinary Meetings (MDM’s) where diagnosis and treatment decisions are made. 

This is a vital role within the hospital.

As a Cancer MDM Coordinator you will:

  • be responsible for providing a high standard of administrative support to the clinical teams to ensure the smooth running of the MDMs
  • be involved in the preparation of Cancer MDM agendas
  • ensure the relevant information is provided
  • provide administrative support during the meetings where necessary
  • assist with the documentation following MDMs and other administrative tasks related to the Cancer Service Team

About you:

We are looking for a confident and experienced administrator with experience in the public hospital system who:

  • Is competent in using Hospital IT systems such as iPMS and Concerto
  • Has advanced knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
  • Has previous experience working with medical terminology
  • Is able to demonstrate excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills
  • Can show initiative for problem-solving
  • Has good time management skills
  • Can demonstrate the ability to follow processes, work autonomously and multitask
  • An ability to support teleconferencing would be an advantage but training will be provided.
