About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Administrator to support the Surgical, Anaesthesia and Radiology Services at Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi.  This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. 

You will be providing a high level of personal assistance, accounts coordination and organisational services to the leadership team of the Surgery, Anaesthesia and Radiology Services to support the smooth delivery of high-quality outcomes for patients. 

The duties required include:

  • Administration and accounts coordination
  • Report, letter and presentation drafting
  • Microster (payroll) transactions
  • Responding to service enquiries (phone and email)
  • Diary management
  • Meeting coordination
  • Project support

We are looking for someone with:

  • High level of detail as you will be dealing with complex health information
  • Accounts background is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Well-developed administrative and organisational skills (MS Office Suite)
  • Initiative and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management skills, ability to manage your workload and know when to shift your priorities accordingly
