About the Role
The role of Administrator will see you provide administrative support primarily to the Service Manager, Whangārei and Kaipara Adult Mental Health and Addictions Service (MHAS) and ensuring the administration needs of the MHAS team are delivered in a professional and timely manner.
In return you will have the opportunity to work within a team who work closely together to create a supportive and recovery focused environment for whaiora and whānau.
About the Team/Service/Location
Tūmanako is a 29-bed purpose-built unit that cares for adults over the age of 18 who live in the Northland area. We have a multidisciplinary team who work closely together to create a supportive and recovery focused environment for our tūroro. We are also committed to quality improvement, staff wellbeing and working collaboratively across services.

About you
Our ideal candidates will have:
- A background in administration with proven skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working within a clinical environment (with experience in Mental Health and/or Addictions being highly advantageous)
- The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- An understanding of working in a multidisciplinary team
- An ability to work bi-culturally and effectively engage with Maori.
Additionally, you will be committed to building effective working relationships with a wide range of people, including whaiora and whānau.
