Job Description

Immediate start! Temp admin role in Wellington—process reports, manage documents, and support a busy team through a key project.

About the Company:

We’re working with a government-focused organisation that keeps things running behind the scenes for communities across New Zealand. The team is grounded, supportive, and looking for individuals they can rely on—who are comfortable getting stuck into admin work and keeping things moving.

The Role:

This is a temporary administration role with a clear purpose: help the team get through a backlog of work that needs careful handling and attention to detail. It’s not customer-facing, and it’s not complicated—but it does need someone focused, accurate, and dependable.

You’ll be managing documents, processing reports, and updating case files. It’s steady, process-based work that plays an important role in the bigger picture.

Start Date, Hours, Location:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Based in Wellington Central
  • Potential immediate start
  • Approximately 4-months (with possible extension)
Who We’re Looking For:
  • You’ve got previous admin experience - a fast learner who’s methodical and switched on
  • You’re available now, ready to get going, and can guarantee a commitment for at least 4-months
  • You’re reliable, steady, and not put off by repetitive tasks
  • You work well in a team, take direction easily, and care about doing things properly
What You’ll Get:
  • Weekly pay – $32/hour + 8% holiday pay
  • Supportive, approachable manager
  • Great team who’ll appreciate the work you’re doing
  • Be part of an organisation that touches the lives of us all here in Aotearoa

If any roles suit your background or transferable skills, myself or one of the team will be in touch to learn more about you and share how we can help.
