About the Role
The Aotearoa Immunisation Register (AIR) enables immunisation healthcare providers to access immunisation health records and make better decisions about whether a person should or should not receive a vaccination. The AIR helps give Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora and the wider health system a better understanding of population immunity against vaccine-preventable diseases.
The primary purpose of this role is to manage the collection, maintenance and exchange of accurate and valid data in the AIR in accordance with the security, quality and timeliness specification in the AIR business rules. The role will see you be responsible for the maintenance and quality of the MedTech Database, including upgrades and error resolution.

About you
You are an experienced administrator able to provide appropriate administrative support to the AIR team. You have an eye for detail and commitment to continuous quality improvement. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a timely, and accurate manner. Able to work to tight deadlines and timeframes. You are comfortable with outreach work in the community, at clinics and in an office environment as required.
- Proven experience in the AIR administration system, including Power BI
- Proven experience using Patient Management Systems and the ability to include upgrades and error resolutions
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft office
- An eye for detail and commitment for continuous quality improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work to tight timeframes
- Flexibility to work across different locations within the Counties area.
- Full Drivers Licence
- A clear Core Children Worker's clearance is required
