About the Role

As an Allied Health Assistant in the Community Clinical Services, you will be an effective member of the Allied Health Team, you will work under the direction of an Allied Health Professional to provide patient/family/whānau centred, safe clinical care through delegated clinical competencies. This includes management of clinical resources and equipment required for clinical interventions, and administrative duties from time to time that fall withing the role responsibilities.

About you

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will need to have a high level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Current, full NZ drivers licence
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role

Previous experience as an Allied Health Assistant or working with clients across all age groups in a health care setting is desirable.
