Are you an experienced Asset Management Consultant, skilled in asset management and local government financial planning? Do you have expertise in developing business cases and supporting investment decisions? My client is a growing Civil and Environmental Engineering consultancy, with expertise in Water, Environmental, Infrastructure and Asset Management Engineering. Utilising the latest asset management and data analysis techniques they are skilled at supporting infrastructure owners to minimise risk and maximise asset performance. E kōrero ana mōu: About you
A passionate Asset Management Consultant you will be experienced with life cycle costing, risk management for natural hazards, investment modelling, climate change impacts and adaptation strategies as well as stakeholder engagement. You will be confident developing and implementing comprehensive asset management strategies, conducting financial planning and preparing business cases for local government water infrastructure assets. Conducting cost-benefit analysis and making investment recommendations will be all in a days work. You will enjoy collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective project implementation and decision making. Taking pride in your work you will be someone who stays updated with industry trends, best practice and regulatory changes related to asset management and water infrastructure planning.

Te āheitanga: The opportunity
Reporting into and working alongside the local Director, you will be presented with the opportunity to lead local projects, quality assurance and client relationships. You will support the development of business cases and long term planning for three waters infrastructure as well as supporting local government to develop new areas of water and flood risk management policy. Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako: Skills & experience

  • Tertiary qualified in Asset Management, Resource Management,E ngineering or a related field
  • 5+ years experience developing and implementing comprehensive asset management strategies for three waters infrastructure in NZ
  • Developed expertise with Business Cases, Flood Risk, Asset and Water Quality Management
  • Working knowledge of Te Mana o te Wai principles and the desire to see them delivered
  • Familiarity with climate change impacts and adaptation
  • A full Driver’s License and existing work rights for NZ
