Mō te tūnga | About the role

The Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) is the centre of excellence for the management and delivery of initiatives and leads the Department's Investment Management Framework. Within this team, the Benefits Analyst assists in identifying, verifying, and reporting benefits data across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an established EPMO within a large and complex organisation.

As a Benefits Analyst will be responsible for the provision of high-quality information and advice relating to benefits data. You will need to work closely with Portfolio teams to ensure the data entered into our project management tool (Sentient) is complete and of a high quality. You will use you data and analysis and dashboarding skills to draw out insights and preparing accurate and timely reports to the relevant Portfolio and Governance groups.

Working alongside the Principal Adviser Investments and Benefits, you will aid in the facilitation of benefits mapping sessions ensuring robust measures are defined.

Sitting in the EPMO you will gain a good overview of enterprise performance along with the opportunity to upskill and develop your performance and measurement skills.

To be successful in this role you ideally will have:

  • Experience with data analytics and trend analysis, using various tools and methods to draw insights and intelligence.
  • An inquisitive mindset with the ability to form a view based on the evidence.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills as you will be working with various stakeholders across the business.
  • Effective relationship management skills, with a willingness to contribute positively to the team.

A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience is also required.

 

Utu ā-tau | Salary

The mid point of the salary range is $106,789 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $90,771 - $128,147 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
