Allied Concrete is a business within the HW Richardson Group (HWR). The business is a leading supplier of an extensive range of ready mixed Concrete Solutions for the commercial and residential construction industry. Allied Concrete North and South Island Regions comprise 17 ACL plants. www.alliedconcrete.co.nz
This role reports to the Northern Regional Operations Manager and is an integral member of the national Branch Manager network, who enable Allied Concrete leadership in the market. While dedicated to lead and manage the Waikato Region this role also contributes to support all strategic, commercial, and operational initiatives of the national business.
We are seeking a dedicated, commercial, and operational savvy experienced manufacturing or contracting, people and business leader with demonstrated capability in the following key accountability areas:
- Sales & Market Development – deliver strategic plans of sales, product & market growth.
- People Leadership – motivate & manage performance & develop capability.
- Operations Excellence – ensure optimised plant, people & fleet delivery standards.
- Quality Management – plant operations, product to NZRMCA & NZ 3104:2021 standards.
- Health, Safety & Environment Compliance – compliance to operations, systems & people HSE regulations.
- Financial Management – develop, manage & report on meeting EBITA targets.
- Relationship Management – engage in collaborative style with company, industry & community connections.
- System Support & Development – IT, Document Control, Reporting & Analysis.
- Culture Builder – “walk the talk” in performance excellence & drive innovation.
The role requires an entrepreneurial style with proven commercial and operational capability together with great people and relationship management skills. A background in manufacturing or contracting within a related industry such as construction and/or utilities infrastructure is preferred. Relevant qualifications together with strong programme/project management skills is also important.
