Job Description

The Physiotherapy Board | Te Poari Tiaki Tinana is the regulatory authority for physiotherapists in Aotearoa New Zealand. They exist to protect the public by ensuring that physiotherapists are competent and fit to practise their profession. They are the third largest regulatory authority based on the numbers of registered physiotherapists and are a dedicated team with a big impact and right now, looking for a talented Business Analyst to join them.
 
About the Role
This is a newly created role designed to drive strategic decision making through actionable insights and high-quality reporting. You’ll help tell the story in their data. From workforce trends to operational performance, while also supporting the delivery of key projects such as their review of the website and system enhancements.

You’ll work closely with the executive and wider team, building strong internal relationships to deliver meaningful outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse business operations data to deliver strategic insights
  • Design and build reports and dashboards using Power BI
  • Track and report on key operational metrics
  • Collaborate on system and website improvement projects
  • Provide regular reporting to executive leadership and stakeholders
  • Contribute to building a data-informed culture within the Organisation

 
What You’ll Bring

  • 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or similar, ideally in the public or regulatory sector
  • Experience building, implementing and managing Power BI solutions
  • A curious, strategic mindset. You can analyse and interpret patterns and trends in the data
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, you tailor insights for technical and non-technical audiences alike
  • Experience of analysing complex data, proposing solutions and data visualisation
  • Advanced M365 skills
