About the Role
The Business Analyst – Roster to Pay programme is responsible for developing workflows and documents that describe the payroll processes within identified Districts to support a seamless payroll implementation of a new payroll system. You will be expected to deliver analysis that supports the transition of payrolls from one system to another, ensuring all business payroll practices, policies, and procedures are well-known and incorporated.
About the Team/Service/ Location
As a Business Analyst, you will be working with the Project Manager plus payroll, and rostering subject matter experts to understand the current processes and systems and contribute to the implementation of new systems in districts.
This role offers the flexibility to be based anywhere in New Zealand, with a hybrid working model that includes a mix of working from home and time in the office. Some travel will be required from time to time, depending on the needs of the role. This is a fixed-term position expected to run for approximately 18 months.
About you
You will have previous experience as a payroll business analyst with demonstrated operational knowledge of payroll practices, processes, and technology in New Zealand. As well, you will have:
- A good understanding of process mapping and business process reengineering, and experience with a relevant toolset
- High level of verbal and written communication
- Be able to contribute to a highly effective team environment.
