Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Business Analyst in our People Group you would work alongside our Senior Digital Specialist and Senior Data and Business Analyst to support crucial systems and tools that deliver people services and people related information across Toitū Te Whenua. In this role you can expect your days to be spent:
- Providing great user support by knowing how to get the best out of systems and tools, making connections between systems and triaging issues that you can't solve for escalation
- Collecting and analysing our business data to inform advice and provide insights that supports the delivery of solutions to achieve our outcomes
- Monitor system performance and data quality, providing regular reports and identifying opportunities for improvement for the team
- Assist in the implementation of system changes, including testing and troubleshooting to ensure smooth deployment.
- Working closely across the wider People team to ensure that we are delivering aligned and effective solutions

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Business analysis experience, with a strength in user requirement gathering
- Experience supporting HR or other compliance-based systems and tools
- Sound logic and numerical skills
- Tenacity and enjoyment of researching and solving complex problems.
- A focus on delivery and a willingness to take accountability and ownership of work, while adapting to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to both influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
The expected appointing range for this position is $82,000 - $98,000, dependent on experience.
