Business Service Coordinator – Wellington – Permanent
We are looking for a Full time (40hpw) Administrative Superstar to join the Te Upoko Region Business Services Team based at our headquarters in Oriental Parade, Wellington.


Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role
Are you interested in a busy and varied administration role in an organisation dedicated to helping our communities?  Fire and Emergency New Zealand are looking for a motivated, energetic, and organised Business Services Coordinator to join our Wellington based team. Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you'll be part of a team committed to delivering outstanding administrative support.

  • General office administrative duties including meeting organisation and minutes.
  • Inbox and calendar triage
  • Project and events coordination and administration. 
  • Accounts payable and asset management


Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you'll bring to the role:
Efficiently deliver a range of administrative activities in a responsive and timely manner. You will be responsible for maintaining quality administration systems and delivering support to a high standard within agreed time frames to ensure a reliable support service is provided. Working across a range of departments and functions with potential to deliver a good variety of work.

This role will require you to analyse, respond, action, or redirect enquiries and become a trusted point of contact for the Region.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal for report writing

  • Proficiency in Office365 applications
  • Proactive problem solver with process improvement.
  • Have a fun personality with a strong customer focus
  • Have a full Drivers license

The salary range for this role is $59,674 - $66,304 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
