Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role

Are you interested in a busy and varied administration role in an organisation dedicated to helping our communities?  Fire and Emergency New Zealand are looking for a motivated, energetic, and organised Business Services Coordinator to join our Wellington based team for a 12-month fixed term until 06th June 2026. Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you'll be part of a team committed to delivering outstanding administrative support.

  • General office administrative duties including meeting organisation and minutes
  • Ensuring legislative compliance of Official Information Act requests
  • Project and events coordination and administration 
  • Accounts payable and asset management

 

We are offering this role with flexibility of hours worked between 25-40hpw (Mon-Fri).  Please indicate your preferred hours of work in your cover letter.

Efficiently deliver a range of administrative activities in a responsive and timely manner. You will be responsible for maintaining quality administration systems and delivering support to a

high standard within agreed timeframes to ensure a reliable support service is provided. Working across a range of departments and functions with potential to deliver a good variety of work.

 

To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:

  • Highly effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • High-level attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Office365 applications
  • Natural affinity to problem solving and process improvement
  • Fun personality with a strong customer focus

 

The salary range for this role is $59,674 - $66,304, dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
