Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We’re seeking multiple Candidate Managers – Career Transition to support individuals navigating organisational change, helping them transition smoothly into new opportunities. As a candidate manager, you will work directly with a list of employees to guide them through their career transition journey within the organisation. This role combines empathy, engagement, and a strategic approach to internal mobility, offering a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in people’s careers.
In this role, you’ll:

  • Build trust and rapport with disestablished employees through proactive outreach and regular check-ins
  • Assess each employee's unique skills, aspirations, and experience to identify suitable roles, including potential matches they may not have considered
  • Provide practical support through CV refinement, application guidance, and targeted interview preparation
  • Work seamlessly with recruitment and change management teams to align employee capabilities with available opportunities
  • Handle all interactions with the highest levels of empathy, confidentiality, and professionalism

You're an empathetic professional with experience supporting career transitions. You excel at building trust quickly and matching people's skills to opportunities they might not see themselves. You're organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple relationships while making each person feel valued.
You work collaboratively across teams while maintaining confidentiality, and you're motivated by transforming organisational change into positive career development experiences.

  Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and Experience
  • Experience in recruitment, candidate management, HR, or career coaching
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to establish rapport and support individuals through transition
  • Strong organisational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple relationships and maintain detailed progress tracking
  • Familiarity with recruitment platforms and EOI processes (beneficial but not essential)
  • Proven ability to deliver personalised, compassionate support while maintaining professional boundaries

  • Hourly Rate up to $38.00 + 8% holiday pay.
  • Temporary position for around 4 – 6 months.
  • Remote Working.
