About the Role

As a Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialty Nurse, you will provide a specialty nursing role facilitating and coordinating the community-based Cardiac Education Programme, utilising skilled nursing assessment of cardiac clients, with the aim of maintaining optimal health and independence of client.

 

About the Team/Service/Location

The service consists of three cardiac rehab nurses located in Whangarei and across the Mid/Far North. Our team work closely together, providing full coverage for our cardiac rehabilitation service in Te Tai Tokerau. This is an excellent opportunity to use and build your cardiology knowledge, come and be part of a small skilled team.

About you

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse with current practicing certificate
  • Relevant Post Graduate Certificate
  • Designated Senior Nurse PDRP
  • Recent experience in cardiology setting
  • Current and full New Zealand drivers' licence
  • Whilst not essential, applicants that have previous experience or training in teaching programmes for adults are desired
