As a Carpenter, you will play a key role in the construction and maintenance of high-quality woodwork, contributing to the success of our growing company.
What You'll Be Doing
- Constructing and installing a range of wooden structures, including frames, walls, floors, and cabinetry
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and precision
- Selecting and using the appropriate tools, equipment, and materials for each project
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project completion
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Providing support and guidance to junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Carpenter, with a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Confident in the use of hand and power tools, and skilled in a range of woodworking techniques
- A commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
