Case Manager | Kaituitui - Waikato Region - Multiple Opportunities
- Salary: (B04) starting from $68,660.00 - $83,003.00
- Full-time, Permanent Roles
- Fixed-Term/Secondment Roles Ending June 2025
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
We are seeking Case Managers to join our teams in Waikato Region. The focus of this role is to help support people into employment, emergency housing, administer hardship grants and other financial assistance as required.
We have permanent vacancies in the Thames, Waihi and Waikato Service Centres as well as fixed-term/secondment opportunities listed below.

We are looking for people who can work in a fast paced, pressured environment and have the confidence to make good, considered decisions. You have strong people skills and be able to negotiate outcomes. Empathy, conscientiousness and problem-solving are some of your key strengths.
We are a busy team, and it is essential that you are prepared to work hard, be a great team player and be passionate about helping vulnerable members of our community. If you are dependable to the core and have the grit and tenacity to show up and work hard even when the going is tough, this could be the role for you.
What you'll need to succeed | Ko ngā mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitū
- Work independently and collaboratively with other team members to assess client needs and develop personalized support plans
- Provide case management support, advice, and guidance to clients in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner
- Manage a caseload of clients and maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
- Conduct interviews with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to identify barriers to employment and develop strategies to overcome them
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to support plans as necessary
- Navigate various computer systems to record and manage client information
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and policies

Key Recruitment Information and Dates
To facilitate the commencement of training for our successful candidates, we are working towards the following key dates:
