About the Role
This role exists to provide high quality support service within the wards or department as a member of the health care team.
Position Description: Health Care Assistant
About the Team/Service/ Location
You will work under the supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse, Midwife, or other Registered Health Professional. Responsibilities may include a range of non-clinical support tasks and could involve redeployment to other wards or departments as required to maintain appropriate staffing levels and service delivery.

- NZQA Level 3 Certificate
- Entry Level experience with above qualification
- Know how to work under the direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, understanding this may be by direct or indirect supervision
- Able to prioritise and cope with high and varied workload
- Flexible, adaptable and able to embrace change
