Located within the state-of-the-art Tōtara Haumaru facility on the North Shore Hospital campus, the Elective Surgery Centre (ESC) features four operating theatres, 12 PACU beds, five-day stay chairs, and six pre-admission rooms.
Tōtara Haumaru, opened in 2024, overlooks the stunning, volcanically formed Lake Pupuke and is just moments from the iconic Waitematā Harbour and some of Auckland’s most beautiful beaches. This modern facility adds significant capacity to our services, including additional operating theatres, four new endoscopy suites, and up to 150 beds, spporting the healthcare needs of our dynamic, fast-growing, and culturally diverse population of over 643,000 people.
We are seeking experienced and dedicated professionals to provide post-operative care for surgical patients across a range of specialties, including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ORL, General Surgery, and Plastics.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a New Zealand PACU or high dependency unit
- A current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
