Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The National Ticketing Programme is a significant programme of work in partnership with NZTA and Public Transport Authorities (PTAs) throughout New Zealand to develop one common payments platform and service for all public transport in the country.
This aims to transform the way New Zealanders travel on public transport, on any mode, anywhere in the country, using card or smart devices, consolidated into one easy payment system. It is a critical part of achieving New Zealand ambitions for a safer, more sustainable land transport system.
The Change Manager role is focused on supporting the Future Phases Stream. Leveraging existing change playbooks, this role focuses on overseeing the early stages of change preparation. It provides key support to local Project Managers, Change Managers and PTA representatives ensuring the respective audiences are well planned and ready to on-board PTA's. While ensuring understanding of change is built into key programme wide activities.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Your strong level of change professional experience and can demonstrate more than 5 years solid change delivery experience on large strategic programs of work
- Experience working in fast-paced projects or programme environments
- Have a proven track record in partnering with and influencing external providers to enable them to effectively lead through change.
- Experience managing complex change delivery across multiple and overlapping time horizons.
- Specific expertise in enabling people to adopt new ways of thinking and working.
- Have a proven track record in enabling and supporting business readiness and change acceptance.
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
