We’re working with a top-tier, multi-disciplinary consultancy that’s delivering some of the South Island’s most exciting civil projects. With a long-standing presence across NZ and a reputation for quality, innovation, and consistency—they’re now growing their Christchurch team and looking for an Intermediate Civil Engineer ready to take the next step.

About the Role :
 
This is a hands-on, career-defining opportunity to work across a diverse range of civil and land development projects. You’ll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle—contributing to everything from 3 waters infrastructure and infill developments to large-scale greenfield subdivisions that shape new communities.

You'll be part of a collaborative civil team supported by in-house geotechnical, structural, planning, surveying, and environmental specialists. The role also offers technical oversight opportunities, as well as a pathway into senior roles and potential future shareholding.

You’ll Be Involved In:
  • Designing and delivering civil infrastructure solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Contributing to civil construction observation and site monitoring
  • Supporting junior engineers and sharing technical insight
  • Ensuring compliance with NZ standards, local regulations, and client expectations
About You
  • 4+ years’ experience in NZ civil design and land development
  • Proficient in Civil 3D with solid AutoCAD knowledge
  • Familiar with NZ council processes, design standards, and 3 waters requirements
  • Hands-on construction observation experience is a bonus
  • Holds a relevant engineering qualification (BEng, BEngTech, NZCE or similar)
  • Confident communicator and team player
  • NZ Residency or Citizenship is essential
