Civil Operative

We’re looking for an experienced Civil Operator to join our Tradestaff Christchurch team
We are offering full time hours and ongoing opportunities for the right people. Mahi starting immediately!

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a variety of plant and machinery (excavators, vibratory hammers, pumps, trucks, and more)
• Work on projects including drainage, dewatering, trench excavation, and large pipelines
• Assist with maintaining equipment and ensuring efficiency on-site

What We Need:

• Machine Operating Experience: Confident operating a range of machinery, including excavators, loaders, and rollers.
• Licensing: Minimum Class 2 licence required. Class 4/5 and tipper truck experience are a strong advantage.
• Drainage & Dewatering: Hands-on experience with trenching, pipe laying, and dewatering systems.
• Team Player: Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a crew with a strong safety focus.

What We Offer:

• Pay from $30 - $35 per hour!
• Full time work available, Monday-Friday!
