About the Job
We’re currently seeking experienced Civil Workers to join our team, with proven expertise across both light and heavy civil construction. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience working on a variety of projects, including commercial civil works, subdivision developments, roading, drainage, earthworks, and underground services.
Locations: Manukau, Henderson, Silverdale, Flatbush
Responsibilities:
-Civil labouring work, general labouring tasks, and drainage labouring work.
-Can operate small earth-moving machinery and class 1 trucks required for the task.
- Concrete finishing and paving experience (preferable but not required)
-Required to travel to various civil construction sites, working with different teams on a range of civil work duties.
-Civil carpentry duties, including formwork.
Requirements:
· 3 experience in civil work or construction.
· Ability to operate heavy machinery and tools.
· Proven experience and competent in operating a concrete saw (a bonus).
· Experience in concrete placing, paving, and drainage labouring.
· Class 1-2 driver’s licence, reliable transport, and ability to travel to all civil sites
· Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
· Physically fit and comfortable to work on outdoors in various weather conditions.
Civil-related tickets and training (e.g., confined space, heights training, Kiwi Rail works) are desirable but not essential.
Some projects may require pre-employment checks, including drug & alcohol and Ministry of Justice (MOJ) checks.
