About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual with exceptional customer service skills to join our Secure Destruction and Transport team. You will be responsible for the exchange, collection, and delivery of 240ltr bins throughout the Christchurch Metro area and South Island. Additional responsibilities include the secure destruction of confidential information at our facility, liaising with clients, and performing light administrative tasks. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, starting early and finishing early with a 40-45 hour working week. Regional runs may require additional hours, including starting on a Sunday. Over night allowances will be provided for accommodation and meals while travelling.
To be successful you will have the following:
- Full, clean Class 2/4 driver’s license and/or forklift certification preferred
- Clean driving and Ministry of Justice record
- Physically fit
- Flexible work hours and available for overnight travel
- Strong attention to detail
- Good verbal communication
- Problem-solving skills
Essential requirements for this role include familiarity with the South Island and Christchurch metro area, experience operating heavy vehicles, and a background in a store or manufacturing setting. Prior experience in our industry is not necessary.
