About the Role
We are currently welcoming applications for the above full-time position to assist and provide cleaning services to our healthcare facility here at Te Whatu Ora – Taranaki.
Our Cleaning Operators contribute to the overall prevention and control of infection throughout our hospital. Providing and ensuring acceptable cleaning standards and compliances are met and maintained.

About the Team/Service/ Location
Our team of 40 plus staff work over two shifts, supplying cleaning services 7 days per week, including all public holidays.

About you
Ideally you will be experienced in the cleaning industry, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Have floorcare experience using electric floor buffers is advantageous.
Be physically fit and flexible to work varied shifts if required.
Understand Health & Safety in the workplace.
NZQA cleaning qualifications level 2 or 3 are preferable and advantageous, however not necessarily a prerequisite as opportunities to gain formal and specialised qualifications will be available and encouraged.
