  • Salary band – $100,849 - $106,739 p.a. pro-rata and KiwiSaver
  • Dunedin Hospital
  • 0.9 FTE / seventy-two hours per fortnight
  • Long term leave cover until December 2025

About the role

We are looking for an experienced nurse with a strong nursing background to:

  • promote, facilitate and provide education and support in clinical skills, policies and procedures and knowledge to our newer nursing team members
  • support current staff learning new specialty procedures.

About you

We're looking for a registered nurse with strong credible clinical leadership skills. You will also have the following:

  • A current New Zealand Registration and APC
  • A current Portfolio (PDRP or equivalent) or be working towards one – Level three or four
  • Previous preceptorship experience or adult teaching qualifications would be an advantage
  • A first-rate knowledge of professional standards and regulations for nurses with impeccable practice standards and nursing speciality knowledge

Salary range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between step five $100,849 and step seven $106,739 pro-rata p.a dependant on relevant experience.
