Are you an experienced and passionate Speech & Language Therapist ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Leader to join our Kidz First Child Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, mentor, and shape the future of Speech & Language Therapy services for children and their whaanau within a community setting.
About the Role:
As a Clinical Leader, you will:
- Provide Clinical leadership and coordination for the Speech & Language Therapy discipline
- Support and mentor a team of clinicians, guiding best practices and professional development
- Maintain a clinical caseload while managing complex cases
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient and whaanau-centered care
- Drive innovation and service improvements within the child development team
- Support recruitment, orientation, and workforce development
What We’re Looking For:
- NZ registered Speech Therapist with a current practicing certificate
- Minimum of six years clinical experience in Paediatric Speech & Language Therapy
- Expertise in working with children with feeding and communication difficulties
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team coordination skills
- Knowledge of best practices, service development, and quality improvement
- Experience in working within an interdisciplinary team environment
- Full, clean drivers licence
