Location: Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital
Service/Department: District Nursing
Contract: Permanent, part-time, 48 hours per fortnight (0.6FTE)
About the role:
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing care within the District Nursing team. This position involves providing clinical leadership, overseeing patient care, and ensuring that services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care for patients with acute, chronic, and palliative needs in the community setting.

We work together to ensure that patients receive personalized, compassionate care in their homes, supporting their recovery, independence, and quality of life. Skills and experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordination role.
- Proven experience in community or district nursing is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and patient-centred care.
- Full NZ driver’s license.
