About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team consists of 16 Registered Nurses and 1 HCA, along with one CNS National Bowel Screening. The service incorporates working with Specialist Consultants, Fellows and Registrars from both the General Surgical and Gastroenterology teams.

As part of the wider service, you will also have interactions with the theatre team, radiology services and the day ward.

About you

 To be successful it is important that you have:

  • New Zealand Nursing Council Registration and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Relevant Post Graduate qualification, Post Graduate Diploma desired
  • Minimum five years’ experience post registration in a clinical position, with a minimum of two years recent Endoscopy experience preferred
  • Quality Improvement knowledge
  • Ability to lead projects
  • Knowledge of the implications of Treaty of Waitangi with a commitment to biculturalism
  • Ability to work in a complex changing environment and able to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team
  • PDRP Senior nurse preferred
