About the Role
This is an opportunity for you as an experienced registered nurse if you are keen to broaden your expertise in supporting our patients with continence problems in the community. You will collaborate in a multidisciplinary group to guide and support these patients and improve their outcomes. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills will be key as you work alongside various teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.

About the Team/Service
The community continence team, is a small team within Community & Rural Health, providing continence support and education across the Waikato District. Based in Hamilton, they visit patients at home or in an outpatient setting in a rural hospital.
About you
Skills and experience you will need to be considered for the role:
- A proficient or expert registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, ideally with an interest in working in the community and with patients with continence problems.
- Proven history of advanced assessment skills
- A current practicing certificate
- Post-graduate qualification or working towards
- A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently
- Adaptability, flexibility and agility working in a complex environment.
