Location: Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital

Service/Department: Cardiology

Contract: Permanent, Part-time, 48 - 64 hours per fortnight (0.6 - 0.8 FTE)

About the role.

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a registered Cardiac Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Cardiology as part of our service extension. Our ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly and collaboratively with a range of professionals. As a core member of the team, you will be expected to work autonomously in a variety of procedures.

Skills and experience.

The ideal candidate will need to be experienced in non-invasive diagnostic testing including, Holter/event fitting and reporting, ECG’s, exercise tolerance testing and Cath lab left and right heart studies. Pacemaker/ICD implant and follow up would be beneficial, but not essential.

Important skills

  • CCP SCT (Certification of Cardiac Physiologist with the Society of Cardiopulmonary Technology) or overseas equivalent
  • You must be registered or eligible to register to the CPRB as a Clinical Physiologist with Cardiac scope of practise.

Desired but not essential skills

  • IBHRE (International board of heart rhythm examiners)
