About the Role
As a Clinical team Manager, you will provide excellent clinical, professional and management leadership for a designated ward/unit/department(s) in order to develop and maintain services that will decrease risk and enhance the quality of care and patient safety.
The Clinical Team Manager has direct responsibility for the day to day operational leadership of the service multidisciplinary team. There is a strong focus on key performance indicators, service coordination, clinical performance and service quality, creating a positive service environment, and the delivery of equitable, person centered, integrated, quality service provision.
About the Team/Service/Location
The Clinical Team Manager is a new position established to provide operational and strategic leadership for Cardiology outpatient services throughout Te Tai Tokerau. The Cardiology Team Manager has management responsibilities for both nursing and allied health teams with ample opportunity to grow and develop services to meet the needs of the population.

About you
- New Zealand Registered Health Professional with current annual practicing certificate
- Nursing/ Allied Health leadership experience
- At least 3 years' experience in relevant specialty area
- Relevant Post Graduate Diploma
- At least 7 years post registration experience
- If applicable - Designated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples)
Desirable
- Experience in Leadership and Human Resource Management
- Master's degree or working towards
- Post Graduate leadership/management papers
