Seeking a Clinical Team Member to Join Our Child & Adolescent Team at Tupu Ora

We welcome applications from experienced registered Nurses, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists, and Social Workers.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position.

The Opportunity

Tupu Ora is a regional specialist eating disorders service providing assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults with eating disorders. We also offer consultation and liaison support to community services and hospitals across the Metro Auckland and Northland regions.

Our services include community/outpatient care, an intensive day programme, and residential treatment options. The Tupu Ora community team delivers specialist care for individuals presenting with moderate to severe eating disorders in both community and outpatient settings. The team is divided into child & adolescent and adult sub-teams.

Important Skills


The successful applicant will bring flexibility, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills to the team. A strong commitment to a multidisciplinary team approach is essential, with prior experience working within the mental health sector supporting children, adolescents, and their families.

Tupu Ora is committed to evidence-based treatment; familiarity with eating disorder treatment models is an advantage. Full orientation and ongoing support will be provided.

You must be currently registered with the appropriate New Zealand professional board for your discipline and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC). A full New Zealand driver’s licence is required, as this role involves community-based work.
