CNC Programmer

CNC Machinist – Hawkes Bay
We’re on the hunt for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a busy team in Hawkes Bay. If you’ve got a strong mechanical background, a sharp eye for precision, and a passion for metalwork, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

• Study drawings/specifications to determine materials, methods, sequences, and settings
• Fit and assemble fabricated metal parts into machines and equipment
• Use precision instruments to check for accuracy and fit
• Operate CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, and presses to shape/cut metal
• Set guides, controls, dies, and shaping tools
• Form metal stock and castings to fine tolerances
• Cut, bend, and install hydraulic/pneumatic pipes and lines
• Diagnose faults and perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls
• May erect and install machinery on-site

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3+ years of CNC machining experience
• Trade qualifications preferred – experience may substitute
• Must have your own tools and reliable transport
• Two work references required
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Class 1 licence preferred (not essential)
