About the role:
  
Based in the Head Office, the Communications Administrator role reports to the Administration Team Leader. This role is responsible for ensuring a professional and personable first impression of the Association for all customers while providing crucial support in administration and communication activities.
  
Responsibilities:  

  • Write and coordinate internal communications, including intranet content management and email distribution
  • Implement and coordinate marketing initiatives, support branches in their marketing and promotional activities/events within the community
  • Manage whānau communications via email and online platforms, ensuring timely responses to queries
  • Assist with privacy-related matters and grant application submissions
  • Monitor online review channels and support social media management
  • Provide administration and reception cover, as required  

Skills and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of administrative experience with a communications component
  • Proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint, and digital platforms such as WordPress, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite
  • Experience in coordinating social media activity and responding to online queries
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively within a team, must have a sense of humour
  • Hold a clean driver license and have no criminal record for the duration of employment
