Your day-to-day:
This role works within the Corporate Communications team to lead communications activity for Lotto's community work. This role encompasses internal and external communications, public relations, and relationship management with our community partners, grant recipients and media.
Your team:
You'll be part of a small but supportive and high-performing communications team. You'll have the opportunity to shape your own workplan with lots of mentoring and support from senior team members, and to grow and develop within the role.
A bit about you:
You may have a background in communications or be ready to move over after time in the news media. A can-do attitude and appetite to pick up the phone and tell the world about what's happening at Lotto NZ are the most important things you can bring to this role - as well as the ability to write for different audiences and build great relationships of course!
The detailed stuff:
As The Communications Advisor, Community you will tell the awesome stories of how Lotto NZ supports our community partners and grant recipients across Aotearoa. You'll bring creative ideas to the table and:
- Develop PR and communications plans to support our partnerships with community organisations across the country
- Proactively seek out stories and opportunities to share them through the media, and on our owned external and internal channels
- Contribute to the day-to-day work of the communications team including draw night communications, corporate communications, and internal communications
This is a full-time role. The hours of work will be primarily 08:30am ' 05:30pm Monday ' Friday.
We have a hybrid model; you will be working from our Corporate HQ in Newmarket and can spend some time working from home.
