Job Description

Reviewing paperwork and compliance, payment follow-ups, communication via email and over the phone. Amending changes on the system and reporting.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance & Payments Resolution Specialist for out client. This is a newly created role based in Ellerslie that plays a critical part in ensuring compliance and smooth resolution of payment-related issues.

The role is:

  • Monday to Friday, typical business hours
  • A permanent role that offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the company.
  • A combination of Administration and liaising with stakeholders

Your key tasks will include:
  • Reviewing paperwork: Ensuring all required paperwork is complete and compliant, and chasing stakeholders where there are outstanding items.
  • Payment follow-ups: Checking that payments have been received, and contacting stakeholders in a professional and friendly manner to follow up if needed.
  • Database alterations: Making necessary changes, ensuring accuracy in compliance and payment data.
  • Communication: Maintaining strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Soft approach: Demonstrating a diplomatic and positive attitude when following up with stakeholders to ensure smooth working relationships  with busy clients.
To be successful you will have:
  • Strong understanding of financial transactions (debit/credit) 
  • Experience in a compliance, payment resolution, or similar administrative role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.
  • Confidence in making outbound calls and chasing outstanding issues, with a polite and non-confrontational approach.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
