We are seeking a reliable and skilled Concrete Placer with experience in kerbing and channelling to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for placing and spreading fresh concrete at construction sites, ensuring proper levelling and smoothness to meet our client's high standards.

Location: Christchurch
Position: Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 40h per week

Pay rate: $25 ~ $35 (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Place and spread fresh concrete in moulds, forms, and designated areas, including decorative work
  • Ensure proper levelling and smoothing of concrete surfaces using appropriate tools (shovels, rakes, power vibrators, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the construction crew to ensure timely and accurate placement of concrete
  • Assist with mixing and preparation of concrete as required
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in concrete placement with kerb and channelling is essential
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and physically demanding conditions
  • Landscape and digger experience preferred 
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
  • Knowledge of concrete placement techniques and safety procedures
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
  • Full Class 1 driver’s licence and a clean MOJ
