  • General/Internal Medicine Physician: Taranaki Base Hospital: Fulltime 1.0FTE
  • Temporary – 12 months (sabbatical cover). Start date end December 2025

About the Role

We are seeking a consultant in General Medicine to provide high-quality, patient-centred care in our busy but supportive hospital setting. You’ll be working alongside a team of committed professionals delivering comprehensive medical services to our diverse community. The role includes acute and inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and participation in the general medicine on-call roster.

About you

· Vocationally registered (or eligible for registration) with the Medical Council of New Zealand

· Fellowship with RACP or equivalent

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· Commitment to holistic and equitable patient care
