Te Whatu Ora – Waitematā provides public health services across the areas of North Shore, Waitākere and Rodney, extending to Wellsford in the north and as far south as the Auckland Harbour Bridge, incorporating Whangaparaoa in the east and the west coast beaches of Muriwai, Piha and Karekare in the west. Our diverse population is made of approximately 640,000 people.
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a part time fixed term General Radiologist to join our dynamic team of Radiologists. Our department undertakes a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, undertaking more than 250,000 procedures annually. A wide range of modalities are performed including x-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, and Tier A and B Interventional procedures.
About you:
As the successful candidate, you will have a strong work ethic, be a valued team member with great communication skills. You will be welcomed into a co-operative and supporting work environment with fellow clinicians. Opportunities for participate in multi-disciplinary meetings are available, as is encouragement and support for continuing growth in all areas of diagnostic imaging.
Interest in mammography and general (tier A) intervention would be desired. The department remains general with subspeciality interest areas.
