Are you an experienced corporate affairs professional ready to take ownership of key client relationships and drive impactful communications strategies?

A leading corporate communications consultancy based in Auckland is looking for a talented and commercially minded SAM to join their growing team.

This is a client-facing role ideal for someone with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an agency environment, who thrives in fast-paced settings and brings a strong understanding of the corporate affairs landscape in New Zealand.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering strategy, implementation, reporting, and results
  • Provide high-quality counsel and lead day-to-day client relationships
  • Develop and pitch compelling media stories, using your knowledge of the NZ media landscape
  • Contribute to new business development and identify organic growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with a smart, down-to-earth team that values excellence, honesty, and curiosity
What you’ll bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate communications consultancy (agency experience is a must)
  • Proven expertise in corporate affairs, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and communications strategy
  • Outstanding writing, organisation, and relationship-building skills
  • A calm, solutions-focused mindset and collaborative working style
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (communications, journalism, politics, or similar)
