“Ehara taku toa I te toa takitahi engari he toa takitini” – Māori proverb (my strength is not the strength of my own, but the strength of many)

Our frontline team spend much of their time working with offenders and can have a huge impact on influencing change through their day-to-day interaction.

By being great role models and looking for ways to engage positively, our whānau can change the lives of offenders and their families.

We're looking for a diverse range of people who have different skills and experiences - from security officers to office jobs, retail, teaching and Police. You might be who we're looking for! Make the switch and be the change for good!

Join us for kai and korero at this information evening and discover more about our mahi.  Our team will be available on the night to give you more information about what a frontline career at Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections) might be like, answer any questions you have, and walk you through our recruitment process. It is a great opportunity to meet new people, get more information, and start your application.
