About the role – Mō te tūranga
As our new Credit Controller, you’ll be joining a friendly team of 3 other Credit Controllers who have all been in the business a long time. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts — ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments and maintaining accurate records. You’ll work closely with the wider finance and operations teams, contributing to process improvements and supporting our evolving credit function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively contacting customers by phone to collect overdue payments
- Managing business-to-business credit control processes
- Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Using Excel to maintain accurate records and support reporting
About you – He kōrero mōu
We’re after someone who combines the right skills with a can-do attitude — ready to pitch in, not just tick boxes. You’ll need from day one: confidence on the phone, solid credit control experience, basic reconciliation skills, and intermediate Excel ability. You will be a team player and be confident communicating with different parts of the business.
