We’re looking for experienced supervisors to lead asbestos removal and demolition projects for a Petone-based client with sites across the Wellington region. Are you looking for your next career move? Or are you without work right now?

What you’ll be doing:

• Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement asbestos removal control plans and ensure site readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Supervision: Oversee removal processes including testing, air monitoring, clearance procedures, and decontamination.
• Compliance: Ensure all work meets health and safety standards, especially asbestos-related regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain SWMS, JSA, QA, and all relevant site documentation.
• Team Management: Lead by example, delegate effectively, and train and mentor site staff.
• Communication: Liaise with project teams, licensed assessors, and stakeholders to ensure coordination.
• Resource Management: Ensure the project stays on track with program and resource plans.
• Problem Solving: Tackle challenges on-site and find efficient solutions.

What we’re looking for:

• Current Class A Asbestos Supervisor Licence
• Proven supervisory experience in construction or demolition environments
• Current Site Safe certificate
