Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for a Digital Exams and Tests Lead on a permanent basis. The Digital Exams and Tests Lead will be the primary point of contact for all matters relating to digital examinations and testing, requiring close collaboration with academic staff, faculty administration, and technical support teams to ensure the seamless delivery of digital assessment services across the University.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Establish and manage a new digital examination and testing service
- Work with stakeholders including change managers and technical staff to socialise implementation and onboard users
- Develop processes, policies, training and support for users and key stakeholders
Ō pūmanawa - About you
Candidates must possess a relevant tertiary or professional qualification and demonstrate proven ability in delivering effective training programs, including the development of comprehensive training materials.
Essential requirements include demonstrated experience in building and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships, along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to client service.
Key requirements include the following:
- Proven experience in leading strategic and operational initiatives
- Proven ability to deliver effective training to users, including development of training materials
- Demonstrated experience of building and maintaining excellent stakeholder/client relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset
